The villa is 8 minutes walk from the Canadel beach. It was built in 1952 and was entirely renovated in 2003. The furniture and appliances are new and the place has been carefully decorated in the local neo-provencal style. The rooms are naturally cool, however, ceiling fans have been installed in the bedrooms to insure the tenants pleasant nights. In winter, a central heating system makes the living perfectly comfortable. Maximum number of people: 9 persons in 3 bedrooms and in a large studio apartment. On request we can supply you with a baby bed. Apart from the months of July and August, you can rent without the studio apartment if you are only 6 people. The house is equipped with a safe deposit box to protect your small valuables and has WiFi (WLAN) that will allow you to connect to the Internet with your laptop computer (20€/week unlimited access). Access to the property is provided by a wide and independant radio controlled gate. 3 cars can easily be parked inside the property and you can even park your trailer if you come with a boat as some people do. You may wonder if you might not be better off renting an entire house for yourself? Don't worry. You will not have any other tenants above you, only us (Annette and Stéphan and our two children Laura 13, Maxime 11). Everything is planned so we don't get in each others way: Your pool and terrace are on the sea side of the house. Ours are on the other side of the house. We never walk by in front of your place when we come and g. Only when we drive in and out we pass by near you terrace, that's all.

Your private pool
The 7,1 by 3,6 meter pool (1,2m deep) is nested in vegetation. It is surrounded
by a exotic wood deck giving it a very authentic character. The pool is protected
by a security device that will prevent small children from falling into the
pool without being noticed.

The terrace
The terrace faces the south-west and enjoys a marvelous view of the sea.
The sun shines from noon until evening. An electric powered shade extends
over
the whole terrace to insure a cool and pleasant temperature.

The living-room
The living room also has a wonderful view of the sea and has a direct access
to the terrace by a large bay window. The window has an electric powered
opaque
shutter to protect the room from the sun in the afternoon when it gets too
warm.
The living room is very well equipped:

a U shape couch to sit comfortably 6 people, |

a console with drawers, |

a wrought iron table and 6 chairs for the meals you take inside, |

a 72cm TV with the 6 national channels, |

a DVD player, |
|
a stereo set with CD, tuner and cassette. |

The bathroom is also brand new and is equipped with
a cupboard with drawer and an electrical outlet a large sink and a
bathtub
that can also be used as a shower.

The loo,
the water-closet, the toilet, the white porcelain godess, the pipiroom...
(depends whether you are British, American, Canadian,
Australian or you just can't speak english...)
No special comments... a toilet is a toilet, right? It's a strange looking
thing on which one can sit to read the paper peacefully. On second thought
it does have something special : If you leave the door open (yes, I know,
sometimes it's embarassing!), you can "read the paper" facing
a marvellous view of the sea. Some say it's good for meditation... and digestion.
studio apartment
If you need more room or if you are looking for a more private space for
certain members of your family (grand-parents, friends...) you can rent
our studio apartement situated just next door. It is furnished with brand
a new large bouble-bed 180x200 (separable into two single beds), and a convertable
leather sofa. The studio apartment has its own bathroom, WC and cupboards.
The studio apartment is also facing the pool.
